Govind’s Residence

Building Type : Residential ,
Location : Wadala, Mumba
Size : 1,750 Sqft.

We were approached to design a 4-BHK residential apartment in the upcoming plush township of Wadala for a young couple and their 3-year-old son. The client’s aesthetic preference centred around a minimal and modern palette. The flooring of the house, done in deep grey marble, allowed every piece of furniture to stand out and act as a showcase in itself. The bedroom palette featured warm colours to offset the flooring and enhance the vibrant yet subdued ambiance of the space.
For the living area, we developed two central design concepts based on different aesthetic themes. The first aimed for sophistication and elegance, using bold colours, textures, and patterns to create a high-profile, upscale, and urbane space. The second concept focused on accentuating the striking marble flooring with carefully selected furniture. Each piece was curated to stand out while maintaining the flow of the space, somewhat like jazzing up the room.
The design for the 3-year-old's room was intended to be enjoyable and safe for the child. The furnishings were kept muted, with an earthy orange and calm blue colour scheme providing the required coziness.
