Inspired by the soulful essence of Kashmiri folk songs, The Wanwun Project reinterprets the warmth, nostalgia and emotional connection of Kashmir through a modern design language.
This home reflects the clients’ deep-rooted heritage while embracing contemporary urban living. Rich textures, earthy tones, subtle detailing and thoughtful material choices come together to create a space that feels rooted, refined and deeply personal.
Instead of relying on traditional motifs, the design captures Kashmir’s spirit through minimalist expressions, layered warmth and a calm, timeless palette. Every detail has been planned to evoke a sense of belonging without making the home feel heavy or over-designed.
Designed for a young family with two children, the home is sturdy, practical and low-maintenance. The material palette supports daily use, comfort and resilience, making the space suitable for the everyday adventures of a growing family.
