Project Details
Our approach to this charming 2 BHK apartment was intuitive, guided by our initial site visits and detailed inspections. The design responds to the home’s compact scale while creating a warm, functional and visually connected living experience.
Upon entering, you are greeted by a tall L-shaped wall that becomes the central feature of the home. It extends from the TV area through the dining space and leads towards the daughter’s bedroom, giving the apartment a strong design identity.
This feature wall integrates multiple elements, including the mandir, TV unit and dining area basin, into one cohesive composition. The result is a unified design language where each zone remains distinct while still feeling connected to the larger story of the home.
The mandir and basin areas are accentuated with graceful arch motifs, suspended elegantly from the ceiling with metal rods. These details create refined focal points within the feature wall and add softness to the linear structure of the space.
The living area is finished in warm beige tones, enhanced with vibrant fabric accents that bring subtle energy and a welcoming ambience. The palette keeps the space calm while allowing selected textures and colours to add personality.
The master bedroom is designed to be as airy and tranquil as possible. Carefully selected fabrics introduce warmth and a homely vibe, making the room feel restful without overwhelming the overall simplicity of the design.
The daughter’s bedroom also functions as her nail art studio. This space is tailored to support both her personal and professional needs, with a neat, open and airy layout that accommodates storage, aesthetics and everyday functionality.
As residential interior designers in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, RLad focused on creating a home that balances elegance, comfort and practical planning within a thoughtfully designed 750 sq. ft. apartment.
