Project Details
Baramati Theme Park was proposed by the Government of Maharashtra with the vision of turning the region into a lively and memorable tourist destination. The idea was to create a place that could welcome both locals and visitors, while offering something meaningful for every age group.
The project was imagined as more than just a recreational park. It was planned as a full-day experience where people could relax, explore, learn, gather and enjoy different attractions within one inclusive public space.
At the heart of the design was the ‘7 Wonders’ theme, created to bring iconic landmarks closer to people in an engaging and accessible way. These themed zones were planned to add a sense of discovery and excitement as visitors moved through the park.
A central lake formed one of the key highlights of the proposal. With lighting and fountain shows, the lake was envisioned as an evening attraction that could bring families and groups together in a vibrant setting.
The park also included a state-of-the-art dome theater, designed to offer a 360-degree sensory experience. This space was planned to add a layer of storytelling, technology and immersion to the overall visitor journey.
Pathways were designed to connect different thematic zones smoothly, allowing visitors to move from one experience to another with ease. One such attraction was the Dino Park, placed within lush greenery to create a playful and immersive environment for children and families.
The overall planning focused on inclusivity, comfort and variety. From thrilling rides and theme gardens to peaceful sit-out areas and community activity spaces, every part of the park was planned to support different moods, interests and age groups.
Baramati Theme Park was envisioned as a destination full of colour, movement and shared experiences — a space where tourism, recreation and community life could come together naturally.
